Central Aroostook Ambulance Service, providing EMS coverage for Mars Hill, Blaine, Bridgewater, and some of the unorganized territories, has one or more full time (48 hours per week) openings for a paramedic. Shift coverage will be two 24 hour shifts per week, or other combination of hours to accommodate personal schedules. Candidate must have a current Maine EMS paramedic license or be license eligible, at least 18 years of age, valid driver’s license, and have a high school diploma or GED. Very competitive wage and benefits package will be offered. Paramedic starting wage is $18/hr., depending on experience. In addition, positions are available for per diem paramedics, $18/hr., and we will work to accommodate your personal schedule. Advanced and Basic EMT applications will be considered depending on experience. Successful candidates will also undergo a physical agility test. Position posting will remain open until filled. REGIONAL EMS COORDINATOR
Aroostook Region V EMS Council Inc. has a full-time opening for a Regional EMS Coordinator (Aroostook County). The Regional Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the regional office to include: Budget preparation, Report generation, attendance of state level meetings, and the internal management and compliance of our EMS Training Center.
Qualifications include: A background in dealing with the public, experience in budget preparation, a self-motivated person with organization and time management skills, and experience or knowledge of the Maine EMS System.

The City of Presque Isle currently hiring for one (1) new Firefighter/Paramedic. This is an entry level Firefighting position with the City and an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic motivated professional to become a valued member of an innovative, progressive, fire department. Presque Isle Fire Department serves approximately 75 square miles, with a population of roughly 9,800 night time residence increasing to roughly 20,000 day time population, successful candidates primary function will be providing EMS care through 911 responses, fire suppression, airport firefighting, fire prevention, life safety inspection, Haz-Mat Decon While working a 24 / 48 shift schedule.
